My car repairman decided to use my car for a road trip.
24 Jan 2017 - BMW 320i
It all happened when my car broke down on the PLUS highway on the way to Seremban. I called a random serviceman for assistance and he towed my car for repairs. The next day, I noticed my car was working again and was being driven to Johor. I called the serviceman to check the whereabouts of my car. The repairman claimed that my vehicle was in Seremban being repaired.
It was a lie, I could see my vehicle on the CAPTOR phone app being driven at high speed to Johor. I called CAPTOR and reported to the police.
Within the hour, I was informed by CAPTOR that their recovery teams in JB and KL were tracking my vehicle and the police were assisting. 4 hours later, I received a call from CAPTOR that my car was recovered and to collect it from the police.
Apparently the serviceman who repaired my car decided to use my car for a road trip to Johor.
A big thank you to the Recovery Teams at CAPTOR for chasing down my vehicle from Johor all the way to Kuala Lumpur. And a big thanks to the Polis for assisting in the recovery.
0ver 1,000 vehicles recovered since 2002.
Here are some of the stories.
