Theft Attempt on Fortuner Averted thanks to CAPTOR “All along my company has been and Allianz insurance customer. I have been fortunate as I have been given a CAPTOR Tracking & Recovery System which has been installed into my Toyota Fortuner just a few months ago.
This morning, I and my wife received a SMS message from CAPTOR stating that there was a violation in my car. Opening my upstairs window, I noticed a black car parked outside my house gate. I sensed something was wrong, so I went downstairs and out my house to the gate. There I noticed the black car ignition was on with a driver inside. Then I looked at my Fortuner and noticed a shadow in my car. I then shouted and immediately an unknown partner bolted out of my car and ran into the black car and sped away.
I am indeed fortunate and obligated to Allianz Insurance and CAPTOR for the early warning to save my car. Otherwise, I would have lost my car to the thieves. Thank you."
